POPIA Notice
This notice is provided in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and explains how Causal-D (operated by Eutheni) processes personal information as the responsible party.

Purpose of processing
We process personal information to create and manage accounts, provide the research and writing platform and its features, send notifications you have enabled, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations. Processing is carried out lawfully and only to the extent necessary for these purposes.
Categories of personal information
Identity and contact details (name, email, optional phone number), academic details (institution, programme, cohort year), the content you create on the platform, and technical data such as log and device information.
Your rights as a data subject
- To be notified that your information is being collected and used.
- To access the personal information we hold about you.
- To request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- To object to processing in certain circumstances.
- To lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
