Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Causal-D platform ("the Service"), operated by Causal-D (operated by Eutheni) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Causal-D is an academic research and writing platform. We provide tools for research projects, writing, reference management, and related AI-assisted features. We may update, add, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us of any unauthorised use. Institutional accounts may be subject to additional terms agreed with your institution.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the platform, uploading unlawful content, or infringing the rights of others. You retain ownership of the research content you create; you grant us the limited rights needed to store and process it to provide the Service.
4. AI-assisted features
Some features use automated and AI systems to generate suggestions. These are aids, not authoritative output. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-assisted content, including for academic integrity, before relying on or submitting it.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue features, and we may amend these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.
8. Governing law
